- Jangan mengulang pelaporan nilai statistik yang sudah ada dalam teks ke tabel atau gambar.
- Dalam tabel dan gambar, laporkan nilai p sesungguhnya (misal p = ,015), kecuali jika p adalah <,001 (sebagai gantinya tulis “p <,001”). Terkadang, penulis kesulitan jika harus melaporkan nilai p sesungguhnya dalam tabel. Dalam kasus tertentu, penulis dapat mengganti nilai p dengan tanda bintang di samping nilai statistik (misal .24**). Kaidah umum penggunaan tanda bintang adalah *p < ,05. **p < ,01. ***p < ,001.
- Beri spasi sebelum dan sesudah tanda hitung matematika (misal kurang, tambah, lebih besar dari, kurang dari). Untuk nilai negatif, beri spasi hanya sebelum tanda minus, bukan setelah tanda minus (misal M = –8.25).
- Gunakan cetak miring untuk simbol statistik (misal M, SD, F, t, df, p, N, n, OR), sementara untuk huruf Yunani (misal α, β, χ2) tidak perlu cetak miring. Penggunaan symbol tersebut juga tidak perlu diberi penjelasan artinya.
Subjek berjumlah 103 orang dengan usia berkisar antara 18 hingga 70 tahun (M = 25,5; SD = 7,94).
Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara prestasi dengan IQ dengan r = ,58; p < ,001
Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan prestasi keduanya mampu menjelaskan 59% variasi dari prestasi (R2 = 0,59; F(2,78) = 56,70; p < ,001). Motivasi secara signifikan mampu memprediksi prestasi (β = ,52; p < ,001), begitu juga dengan IQ yang juga mampu memprediksi prestasi (β = ,47; p < ,001).

Hasil analisis independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan prestasi yang signifikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan (t[79] = -12,38; p < ,001). Laki-laki (M=76,76; SD=2,28) memiliki prestasi yang lebih tinggi dibanding perempuan (M=82,37; SD=1,78).
Hasil analisis paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara religiusitas sebelum diberi terapi (M = 15,99; SD = 3,24) dan religiusitas setelah diberi terapi (M = 18,37; SD = 2,35), t(34) = -6,34; p < ,001.

Hasil analisis one way Anova menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan prestasi yang signifikan antara suku Asmat, Minang, dan Bali dengan F(2,78) = 202,14; p < ,001. Analisis post-hoc dengan metode Tukey juga menunjukkan bahwa Suku Bali (M = 83,44; SD = 1,33) memiliki prestasi yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibanding suku Minang (M = 79,96; SD = 0,88) dan suku Asmat (M = 75,65; SD = 1,87), p < ,001. Sementara suku Minang memiliki prestasi yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding suku Asmat (p < ,001).
Contoh repeated Anova
Hasil analisis repeated measure Anova menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan religiusitas antara sebelum, sesudah, dan satu bulan sesudah pesantren kilat (F (2,160) =19,31; p < ,01). Setelah pesantren kilat, religiusitas siswa berada pada level paling tinggi (M = 18,37; SD = 2,35) dan berbeda signifikan dengan sebelum (M = 15,98; SD = 3,24) dan satu bulan sesudah pesantren kilat (M = 16,43; SD = 3,11).
Note:
Sampel terdiri atas 117 anak-anak, 95 remaja, dan 72 dewasa. Hasil analisis chi-square menunjukkan bahwa ada asosiasi antara makna kebahagiaan dengan umur individu (anak-anak, remaja, dan dewasa), c2(6, N = 284) = 95,06, p < ,001.
- Ikuti kaidah pembuatan tabel format APA. Output SPSS masih belum standar APA, jadi perlu disesuaikan. Gunakan output dari JASP jika ingin tabel yang sudah standar JASP.
- Tidak ada bentuk baku tabel harus seperti apa, namun sajikan nilai-nilai yang perlu disajikan untuk masing-masing teknik analisis (seperti penjelasan sebelumnya).
- Sajikan informasi semudah mungkin agar pembaca mampu memahami dengan sekilas informasi yang disajikan. Tabel biasanya disajikan ketika penjelasan dengan kalimat terlalu panjang. Namun pada analisis yang sederhana, misal hanya mengkorelasikan dua variabel, tabel tidak diperlukan.
- Tabel dan teks harusnya tidak saling overlap, apa yang sudah tertulis di tabel tidak perlu ditulis kembali di teks, begitupun sebaliknya.
- Dalam tulisan ini, tanda koma banyak ditulis dengan simbol (,) karena mengikuti penyesuaian dalam bahasa Indonesia, sementara seharusnya kalau mengikuti panduan APA, tanda koma ditulis dengan simbol (.).
- Format APA tidak menuliskan angka 0 di depan tanda koma untuk bilangan yang nilainya tidak mungkin lebih dari 1 (misal koefisien korelasi r, cukup tuliskan r = ,32), sedangkan jika nilainya bisa lebih dari nol, tuliskan angka 0 tsb (misal nilai z = 0,32). Meskipun demikian, untuk jurnal nasional sebagian besar masih menuliskan angka nol di depan koma, jadi untuk publikasi di jurnal nasional format silakan mengikuti panduan jurnal.
